Areas of Expertise

Dr Eleri is dedicated to delivering comprehensive dental care tailored to her patients’ needs. She has a particular interest in managing adult and paediatric dental trauma, minor oral surgery, dental implants, and supporting patients with dental anxiety, including those with PTSD and dental phobia. Dr Eleri also provides treatment under general anaesthesia and oral sedation. 

 

Education and Training

Committed to education and training, Dr Eleri graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from James Cook University. Since graduating, she has gained extensive experience in remote Australia, where she refined her knowledge of remote health and developed her surgical skills.

 

Dr Eleri has worked across both public and private sectors, gaining broad clinical experience and a strong foundation in managing medically complex patients. Her professional background includes working in First Nation communities, working in head and neck oncology and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care. 

 

She has undertaken further training at the Cambridge Academy of Implantology and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in General Dental Practice (GDP) setting herself up for a strong foundation in evidence-based clinical practice. She is currently a registrar at The Sydney University for Conscious Sedation and Pain Control.

 

Commitment To Continuing Education

 

Dr Eleri attends regular national and international conferences and practical courses to maintain her current levels of skill and expertise in her field. She embraces new technologies and advancements in patient care, incorporating digital systems and innovative processes into her practice. She encourages all her team to take an active part in ongoing professional education and sees this as a very important way in which the team can maintain their professional reputation.
