MPDSS Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme, are you eligible? If you hold a current health care or pensioner concession card you are eligible for Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme (MPDSS) dental care. Now is the time to get dental treatment you need.
Visit Dental Health Services (DHS) website to contact your nearest public dental clinic to confirm your eligibility and register for subsidised dental care.
In metropolitan areas, DHS will then send you a letter for an appointment at your closest public dental clinic or a voucher for a private dental practice taking part in the scheme.
The actual level of dental subsidy a person is entitled to is based upon their Centrelink income which is assessed by DHS.Your care will be subsidised up to a maximum of 75% of your total account by the West Australian Government. Our staff will discuss co-payments and options for payment plans with you before treatment is provided.
